What I learned in church today - The Worst Things Aren’t The Last Things. it was actually more of a reminder than a lesson but, it was a good reminder indeed. marinate on it… pray about it… trust.
so we had the full church choir today and they were off the chain (i’m big on worship songs). although the choir blew me off the water, i found myself unexpectedly moved by an oldie but goodie. as i was in Goldilocks eating my Breakfast Buffet, i look up and suddenly see Gary Valenciano (if you don’t know about him, it’s google time) singing on TV. as always, i was mesmerized because i see so much of my brother in him (my brother used to idolize this guy when we were younger) that i couldn’t hear what song he was singing. then bam… i realized that the song was Take Me Out of the Dark. i frantically look up the lyrics on my phone and sure enough… *goosebumps. take a listen:
